Job summary

TrueCare in Oceanside, CA seeks a Behavioral Health Consultant to join the primary care team. You will triage and manage patients with medical and behavioral health needs, deliver psychoeducation, and develop tailored behavioral treatment plans.

The role requires CA licensure (LCSW/LMFT/Clinical Psychologist), BLS, English/Spanish bilingual preferred, and experience with EHRs. This is a mission-driven organization focused on accessible care.

Qualifications

• Licensed clinician in California (LCSW/LMFT or Psychologist).
• Experience providing individual therapy across age ranges.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Trauma-informed care knowledge and ACEs awareness.

Responsibilities

• Triage and manage primary care patients with medical and behavioral health needs.
• Provide psychoeducation and patient education strategies.
• Develop specific behavioral/therapeutic treatment plans for patients.
• Assist primary care providers in recognizing and treating mental disorders.
