Job Details
The Integrated Behavioral Health Consultant (LCSW/Clinical Psychologist) is embedded within primary and specialty care teams to work directly with the team to assess individuals with behavioral health and/or substance use issues and to provide brief treatment services within the primary/specialty care setting. The BHC is involved in assessment, planning, implementation, facilitation, monitoring, and evaluation of the options and services required to meet an individual's health needs. They serve as patient advocates and counselors, perform psychosocial assessments as per SBIRT Program Objectives, and refer patients and families to Behavioral Health & Primary/Specialty care resources within the Einstein Healthcare Network. Through effective communication and resource identification, the BHC promotes quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, cost-effective care delivery, and safe transition of care. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about gender-nonconforming identities and expressions, and the assessment and treatment of gender dysphoria, including evaluating patients for Behavioral Intervention & Referral to Treatment as appropriate.

Qualifications
Education required: Master's degree in social work, Counseling, PhD/PsyD in Clinical Psychology, or related social science field.
License required: LCSW, LPC, PsyD/PhD in Clinical Psychology, or equivalent.
Experience required: Two to three years in an integrated healthcare, primary care, behavioral health program, or facility.
Preferred experience: Care coordination, utilization/case management, discharge planning, mental health, or chemical dependence certification.
