A leading health care organization is seeking a Behavioral Health Consultant to connect patients with care, provide therapy, and oversee clinical staff. This full-time position requires a Master's in Social Work and a New York license. The successful candidate will engage in various therapeutic roles and ensure quality care while working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
The Behavioral Health Consultant is a manager in the Behavioral Health department that is assisting to connect patients to care. They take warm handoffs and referrals from primary care, and provide brief interventions and, when appropriate, connect the patients being referred to ongoing behavioral health services.
