The University of Virginia UVA Health is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor to join the Primary Care Culpeper and Culpeper Pediatrics clinics as a Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC). This hybrid role involves two days per week in clinic and two days remote, delivering integrated behavioral health services within a fast-paced primary care setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling required.
• Active Virginia license (LCSW or LPC) or eligible to obtain within 18 months.
• BLS certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides access to focused assessment and collaborative care in primary care.
• Delivers evidence-based interventions for mental health and chronic disease management.
• Works with the primary care team to develop pathways and psychoeducation.
• Maintains clinical records and supports HIPAA-compliant telehealth delivery.
• Participates in training, quality improvement activities, and team meetings.
