Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant in Jackson, MI to provide hands-on patient care in a collaborative behavioral health setting. The role offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule and no weekends, with occasional travel to Hillsdale, MI.

The pay rate is $19.00/hour, with a contingent assignment through at least January. You will assist with patient intake, screenings, EMR documentation, and administrative tasks while supporting providers in a trauma-informed, integrated health

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited program recognized in Michigan
• Experience with EMR systems preferred
• RMA credential preferred and able to meet compliance requirements

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist individuals with empathy and professionalism
• Perform patient screenings and document vital signs in the EMR
• Support medication pre-authorizations, referrals, and care alerts
• Conduct Clozaril point-of-care finger stick testing and communicate results
• Assist clinicians and telehealth staff with patient management and admin tasks
• Ensure telehealth equipment works and clinical areas are organized and safe
• Obtain, upload, and manage medical records and lab results
• Perform other duties to support efficient clinic operations
