Samaritas in Michigan is hiring a SUD Behavioral Health Clinical Medical Assistant to join our new clinic. You will support clinicians, collect intake information, and help deliver compassionate behavioral health and substance use disorder services.

This full-time role requires CCMA certification, strong communication, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while coordinating care across teams. EMR proficiency and excellent organizational skills are essential.

Competenze

• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant CCMA required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and documentation skills.
• Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and professional ethics.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience in medical office and EMR systems is a plus.

Mansioni

• Client Care & Clinical Support
• Welcome clients and collect medical history and intake information
• Record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature and weight
• Prepare clients for examinations and appointments
• Assist medical practitioners with office-based procedures as needed
• Communicate client information accurately to the medical team
• Scheduling & Administrative Coordination
• Support insurance verification and intake processes
• Coordinate appointments and maintain scheduling accuracy
• Facilitate communication between Samaritas and external healthcare providers and partners
• Assure care coordination and client follow-up activities
• Documentation & Compliance: maintain confidential records and HIPAA standards
