Job summary

Highmark Health in Pittsburgh seeks a licensed behavioral health professional to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for acute psychiatric patients, working within a multidisciplinary team. The role involves delivering individual, group, and family therapy, conducting thorough evaluations, and ensuring all treatment plans and progress notes are completed to regulatory standards.

You will participate in department and hospital meetings and collaborate to coordinate care for patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) or other Behavioral Specialist license
• Preferred Older Adults Protective Services Act (OAPSA) clearance
• Prior counseling experience in a behavioral health setting

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, group and family therapy with assigned patients. (70%)
• Conducts an individual comprehensive evaluation for assigned patients. (10%)
• Completes all documentation according to regulatory requirements (e.g. treatment plans, progress notes). (10%)
• Attends all required departmental/hospital meetings. (10%)
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
