Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician III in Biddeford, ME to provide comprehensive care for clients with behavioral health needs under an independent license. Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, and direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions.

Requires state licensure (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.), a Master’s degree in a related field, and at least three years of independently licensed clinical experience.

  • Licensed LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT by Maine OPOR.
  • Minimum of three years of behavioral health experience as an independently licensed clinician.

Eligible candidates are hired into a Full orPart timeposition. Bonusamountprorated forPart timehires;per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 3months ofseparation from employment.

Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Masters Social Worker - Clinical Conditional (LMSW-CC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor - Conditional (LCPC-c), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - Conditional (LMFT-c) is required

Summary

The role of Behavioral Health Clinician III, working under an independent license, involves providing comprehensive care and support to clients with behavioral health needs. The key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions. The Behavioral Health Clinician III will have specialized skills in three out of nine advanced skills domains, such as Teaching, Quality & Process Improvement, Research, and Supervision/Mentoring.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Addiction Treatment, or related field from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) or the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Education Programs (CACREP) or the National Addiction Studies Accreditation Commission (NASAC).
  • License/Certifications: Licensed LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT from the respective licensing board of the State of Maine Office of Professional and Occupational Regulation (OPOR)
  • Experience: At least three years of behavioral health experience as an independently licensed clinician.

The pay range for this position is $77,147.20to $104,353.60per year.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
