Requirements include Maine state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or consideration of Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Masters Social Worker - Clinical Conditional (LMSW-CC).
Are you ready for a change? Consider the role of an integrated behavioral health clinician within a multidisciplinary team. This part-time position provides care to students at the School Based Health Center at Boothbay Regional High School and Elementary School, located at 236 Townsend Ave, Boothbay Harbor. The role offers options for year-round employment or school calendar scheduling.
The clinician will work closely with medical providers and school personnel to support students, offering accessible care in their daily environment. This integrated approach reduces stigma and encourages student participation.
Responsibilities include conducting screening, assessments, and brief treatments (individual, family, and group). Additional duties involve providing curbside consultation, linking students to services, and participating in population health activities targeting specific groups. Candidates must be comfortable working with children, adolescents, and families. Knowledge of substance use disorder treatment is preferred.
This position benefits from collaboration with experienced integrated care teams, including psychiatrists and clinicians within MaineHealth, along with individual supervision, group supervision, psychiatry consultation, and quarterly training.
The Behavioral Health Clinician II, working under an independent license, provides comprehensive behavioral health care, including assessments, treatment planning, and direct therapy with clients and families.
