Ohio Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) - Northcoast Behavioral Healthcare in Youngstown, OH is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Healthcare Provider 1 to support clients through evidence-based treatment, individualized skill development, and coordinated care. The role delivers diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, counseling, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Formación

• Licensed professional credentials in behavioral health disciplines (LCDC II, LPC, LSW, MFT) are required or preferred.
• Nursing licensure with a focus on mental health or psychiatric care may be required.
• Graduate-level training in psychology or nursing with MH specialization is noted for certain roles.

Responsabilidades

• Perform initial diagnostic assessments for new clients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Coordinate client assessments, admissions and evaluations.
• Teach and support clients in developing independent living skills.
• Provide individual counseling and therapeutic support.
• Act as an active member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Prepare and submit reimbursement materials.
• Attend required training and professional development sessions.
• Coordinate referrals to providers and conduct follow-up outreach.
