Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers in Wasilla, AK seeks a dedicated Clinical Support team member to assist therapists and case managers in delivering high-quality behavioral health and substance use treatment.

Join a multidisciplinary team to participate in assessments, group facilitation, treatment planning, documentation, and continuity of care. Schedule is full-time, 40 hours weekly, Sunday–Thursday 8:00am–4:30pm; compensation is $28.50–$31 hourly, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, or related field that qualifies for clinical licensure eligibility.
• Licensure-eligible or pursuing licensure in a behavioral health discipline is strongly preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health, mental health, and/or substance use treatment settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate effectively in multidisciplinary treatment plan reviews, demonstrating preparation and understanding of patient needs, progress, barriers, and treatment strategies.
• Complete baseline clinical assessments, including biopsychosocial evaluations, per program standards and supervision requirements.
• Conduct therapeutic and psychoeducational groups as assigned.
• Assist therapists and case managers with patient care coordination, clinical tasks, and daily treatment support.
• Provide coverage for assigned patient caseloads in the absence of primary therapists, as directed.
• Assist patients in identifying and managing external stressors that may impact treatment engagement and progress.
• Support therapists in family communication, coordination, and documentation related to patient care.
• Promote patient engagement, accountability, and continuity throughout the treatment process.
