Job summary

Centurion is seeking a part-time Charge RN to join the Behavioral Health team at Patuxent Correctional Facility in Jessup, Maryland. The Charge RN will supervise nursing and support staff, provide direct and indirect care, and work with the Director of Nursing and a multidisciplinary team to address physical and mental health needs.

Must hold Maryland RN license; BSN preferred but not required. CPR/BLS certification and ability to obtain security clearance are required. Shift: part-time, days.

Qualifications

• Maryland RN license required; BSN preferred but not required.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory nursing experience.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience in correctional or behavioral health settings preferred.
• Ability to obtain security clearance (drug screen and background check).

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing and support staff on assigned shift.
• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and multidisciplinary team.
• Respond to a wide range of physical and mental health needs.
