Job summary

Rosecrance Mulberry Center in Rockford, IL is hiring a direct supervisor to oversee clients in the Health Center and other units, delivering ethical, legal, and safe care aligned with regulatory standards. Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum CNA, CMA or EMT certification; RN/LPN in progress acceptable.
• Must qualify as RSA per Illinois DMH Rule 132.
• CPR/BLS and First Aid training within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clients in Health Center and other units.
• Provide behavioral interventions to maintain therapeutic milieu.
• Facilitate therapy and psychoeducation groups.
• Coordinate, supervise and implement client activities.
• Complete and accurately enter client information at admission; nurse to review forms.
• Assist with admissions and verification of medications at admission.
• Assist with health history collection and report to nurse.
• Assist in client orientation and vital signs assessments.
• Transcribe orders and perform CLIA waived testing (glucose, urine drug screens, COVID testing).
• Observe medication self-administration and report responses.
• Schedule follow-up medical appointments and arrange transportation as needed.
• Uphold Rosecrance compliance and deliver customer service.
