Treasure Coast Community Health, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Health Coordinator to enhance mental health services across our clinics in Indian River County, FL. You will help coordinate referrals, prepare paperwork, and support clinicians in delivering patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three to six months prior reception or scheduling in healthcare and computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate referrals to mental health and social services inside and outside the primary care clinic.
• Support coordination of mental health care with primary care providers and other BH providers.
• Schedule patients with psychiatrists, LCSWs, LMHCs, and group therapy.
• Collect information and prepare documentation and forms for BH visits and procedures.
• Greet patients, update records, and clarify chief complaints and medications prior to visits.
• Assist with administrative tasks and cross-cover BH/clinical duties as needed.
• Answer phones, handle clerical tasks, and document patient encounters.
• Collect co-pays and explain financial policies to patients.
