Job summary

The Oregon Department of Corrections seeks a qualified QMHA professional to provide care coordination for adults in custody releasing to the community. You will collaborate with treatment programs (AIP/COD), assist with housing, transportation, clothing, and aftercare referrals, and coordinate with community providers for medical or mental health needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science field or equivalent experience.
• At least three years of relevant work, education, training, or experience.
• QMHA certification or eligibility, or being a QMHA intern as defined by rule.
• Experience with trauma-informed, gender-responsive treatment for SUD with co-occurring disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, treatment planning, psychosocial skills development, and care coordination for adults in custody transitioning to the community.
• Collaborate with systems stakeholders and refer to community providers; may facilitate groups as needed.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science

QMHA certification

QMHA intern (as defined in 309-019-0105(61))

3+ years relevant work/education/training/experience
