Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Six months or more experience with the facility's population is preferred.
• Knowledge of common psychiatric disorders and treatment modalities is preferred.
• CPR certification and de-escalation training are required (training available upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Ensures client safety and a structured, supportive environment.
• Conducts safety checks and surveillance per guidelines.
• Record client data accurately and timely in charts.
• Responds to crises and medical emergencies as needed.
• Assists with group therapy participation and activities.
• Transports or coordinates transportation when required.
• Provides incident reports and reports to oncoming shifts.
