Job summary

Requirements include a high school diploma, CPR/de-escalation certification, and at least six months of relevant experience; first aid may be required by state or facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months or more experience working with the specific population preferred.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate urgency and commitment to patient safety while delivering excellent customer care.
• Document timely, accurate clinical information in the patient’s medical record.
• Assist with activities of daily living and provide a safe, supportive environment.
• Coordinate or provide transportation as needed for patients.
• Maintain professional, empathetic interactions with patients, families and staff.
