Peak Behavioral Health in Santa Teresa, NM seeks a Behavioral Health Associate II to join the on-site treatment team under licensed nurse supervision. The role includes monitoring patient behaviors, providing care, assisting with daily living activities, and documenting observations to support treatment goals.

You will conduct safety checks, participate in groups, take vital signs, and help with admissions/discharges as needed. CPR/de-escalation certification required on hire.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• At least one year experience as a BHA required.
• One or more years’ experience working with the specific population of the facility required.
• Knowledge of psychiatric disorders and various treatment modalities preferred.

Responsabilités

• Ensures wellbeing and supervises patients under supervision.
• Assists with activities of daily living and monitors patient behavior.
• Conducts safety checks and reports observations to supervisor.
• Takes and records vital signs and maintains patient charts.
• Assists with admissions, discharges, and transportation as needed.
• Participates in rehabilitation groups and treatment activities.
