Job summary

The Mississippi Department of Employment Security seeks a Behavioral Health Associate (BHA) to support patient safety and recovery in a structured, team-based setting. You will provide direct patient care under clinical or nursing leadership and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma, 6 months of relevant experience, CPR and de-escalation/restraint certifications (training provided).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience working with a similar patient population preferred.
• CPR and de escalation and restraint certification required. Training provided upon hire.
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.
