Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED. CPR and hospital-selected de-escalation technique certification.
• One year of experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Associates degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Accept admissions for inpatient and outpatient services.
• Interview patients or representatives and collect required admission data.
• Pre-register patients for scheduled admissions and verify insurance.
• Coordinate referrals and admissions from physicians' offices and ERs.
• Explain hospital policies and patient rights, HIPAA, and visiting hours.
