Under the direction of the Director of Assessment and Referral, the Call Specialist manages admission functions, provides crisis intervention to potential patients by gathering telephonic information and scheduling assessments, collects and inputs data into Med Series 4, and assists in coordinating residential admissions.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in human services fields such as psychology, sociology, counseling, criminal justice, or related areas. Alternatively, a high school diploma or GED with at least two years of direct contact experience in a human services setting is acceptable.
Additional requirements include successful completion of credentialing, CPR/AED certification, Crisis Prevention Training, and good communication skills. Overtime and flexible hours may be required.
