Job summary

Compass Health, Inc. Behavioral Technician role at our Crisis Center in Raymore, MO. This PRN/As Needed position provides compassionate support to individuals in crisis under supervision, ensuring safety and daily living needs are met.

You will work in a team-based setting, performing hands-on care, maintaining a calm and supportive atmosphere, and growing in behavioral health through on-the-job mentorship and training.

Qualifications

• High School/GED preferred.
• At least one year of psychiatric, nursing, or emergency room work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support during crisis and meet daily needs.
• Monitor safety and engage with individuals to create a supportive environment.
• Participate in medication administration (L1MA training).
• Share observations with the treatment team to enhance care.
• Keep BHCC environment organized, clean, and welcoming.
• Mentor new staff and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
