Job summary

Clarvida in Pennsylvania is hiring a Behavioral Consultant ABA to join our in‑community team serving clients aged 2–21. You will lead assessments, identify target behaviors, and collaborate with families, educators, and other providers to implement individualized treatment plans.

This is a direct care and supervisory role requiring strong clinical insight, detailed documentation, and the ability to supervise licensed staff.

Qualifications

• Licensed in PA as psychologist, professional counselor, MFT, clinical social worker, social worker, behavior specialist, or nurse practitioner with ABA oversight and BCBA or graduate-level certification.
• PA license with BCBA supervision or graduate certification in behavior analysis.
• Minimum 1 year full-time ABA experience and 12 ABA credits from college/university.
• Minimum 1 year ABA experience under supervision with 40 hours of ABA training.
• PA Criminal, Child Abuse and FBI clearances required.
• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work or Counseling.

Responsibilities

About The Role

We’re hiring a Behavioral Consultant to join our Pennsylvania team, providing in-community behavioral health support to clients ages 2–21. As a Behavioral Consultant, you’ll lead assessments, identify target behaviors, and collaborate with families, educators, and other service providers to develop and implement individualized treatment plans (ITPs). This is a direct care and supervisory role that requires strong clinical insight, excellent documentation skills, and a passion for empowering youth.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet at least one of the following criteria:

• Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, social worker, behavior specialist, certified registered nurse practitioner or a professional with a scope of practice that includes overseeing the provision of ABA services and have a certification as a BCBA or other graduate-level certification in behavior analysis.
• Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social work, social worker, behavior specialist, certified registered nurse practitioner or a professional with a scope of practice that includes overseeing the provision of ABA services and have one of the following:
• A certification as a BCaBA or other undergraduate-level certification.
• A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services and a minimum of 12 credits in ABA from a college or university.
• A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services under the supervision of a professional with a certification as a BCBA or other graduate-level certification in behavior analysis and a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA.
• Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist and have a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services and a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA.
• Ability to pass PA Criminal, Child Abuse, and FBI Clearances
• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work or Counseling from an accredited program

Preferred Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience in behavioral health
