Job summary

Clarvida in Kittanning, PA is seeking a Behavioral Consultant ABA to provide in-community behavioral health support to clients ages 2–21.

The role includes leading assessments, developing ITPs, implementing ABA strategies under licensed supervision, and coordinating with families and schools to drive progress.

Candidates must hold PA licensure in a relevant field, BCBA or graduate-level behavior-analytic certification, and have ABA experience with clearances; comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in PA as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, social worker, behavior specialist, CRNP or related field with overseer scope for ABA and BCBA/graduate-level certification.
• Must have BCBA or graduate-level certification in behavior analysis and/or BCaBA or undergraduate-level certification.
• Minimum 1 year full-time ABA experience with supervision and a minimum of 40 hours of ABA training.
• Ability to pass PA Criminal, Child Abuse, and FBI clearances.

About The Role

We’re hiring a Behavioral Consultant to join our Pennsylvania team, providing in-community behavioral health support to clients ages 2–21. As a Behavioral Consultant, you’ll lead assessments, identify target behaviors, and collaborate with families, educators, and other service providers to develop and implement individualized treatment plans (ITPs). This is a direct care and supervisory role that requires strong clinical insight, excellent documentation skills, and a passion for empowering youth.

Required Qualifications

• Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, social worker, behavior specialist, certified registered nurse practitioner or a professional with a scope of practice that includes overseeing the provision of ABA services and have a certification as a BCBA or other graduate-level certification in behavior analysis.
• Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, social worker, behavior specialist, certified registered nurse practitioner or a professional with a scope of practice that includes overseeing the provision of ABA services and have one of the following:
• A certification as a BCaBA or other undergraduate-level certification.
• A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services and a minimum of 12 credits in ABA from a college or university.
• A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services under the supervision of a professional with a certification as a BCBA or other graduate-level certification in behavior analysis and a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA.
• Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist and have a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services and a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA.
• Ability to pass PA Criminal, Child Abuse, and FBI Clearances
• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or Counseling from an accredited program

Preferred Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience in behavioral health
