Job summary

Road to Responsibility in Norwell, Massachusetts is seeking a qualified clinician to provide oversight and coordination of clinical services within assigned programs. The ideal candidate will develop and implement behavior support plans and monitor clinical interventions using best practices.

This role requires a Master’s Degree and Independently Licensed clinician status. Applicants should have at least three years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide oversight and coordination of clinical services within assigned programs.
  • Collaborate closely with Program Management and Clinical Team to ensure compliance with DDS/DMA regulations and agency standards.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor behavior support plans and clinical interventions using best practices in the field.
  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments and create proactive, positive behavioral support strategies.
  • Provide staff training, coaching, and crisis support to ensure effective implementation of behavioral and clinical interventions.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, reports, tracking systems, and required records.
  • Partner with program leadership to strengthen quality of care and clinical outcomes.
  • Foster positive, professional, and collaborative relationships with staff, individuals served, volunteers, families, and external partners.
  • Participate in required meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development.
  • Support onboarding and coaching of new team members as needed.
  • Follow all agency policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Contribute to additional agency initiatives and responsibilities that support quality care and organizational goals.
Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree & Independently Licensed clinician (i.e. BCBA, LABA, LICSW, LMHC)
  • Minimum of three years of experience working with individuals with various developmental, intellectual and emotional disabilities.
  • Minimum of three years of training, including post graduate class work or formal training, and/or experience in function based behavioral assessment and treatment.
  • Experience in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behavioral Supports (PBS) preferred
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Successful completion of all state and agency mandated trainings.
  • Must be willing to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI) and release of information concerning allegations from Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC), Department of Developmental Services (DDS), and other agencies.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be fluent in English and have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals under supervision, employees of the organization, families, and members of the community.
