Maxim Healthcare Services in Petaluma is hiring for an Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to work with children and/or adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.
  • Assist with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor skills, and crisis intervention.
  • Support clients with personal care activities such as bathing, oral hygiene, meal preparation and feeding, dressing, ambulation, and other needs.
  • Implement and collect data on behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous experience in educational or healthcare settings preferred.
  • At least one year of experience working with children or adults with special needs and challenging or aggressive behaviors.
  • College coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences, or related fields preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
