Job summary

MyPath is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to assist 1-4 adult clients with behavioral, medical, and/or physical disabilities in a residential home setting. You will help ensure safety, redirect behaviors, assist with daily living tasks, and act as a positive influence and chaperone for activities.

We offer competitive pay of $17–$18 per hour, second shift and weekend differentials, guaranteed hours, comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision), 401k, tuition reimbursement, student loan

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Experience assisting clients with complex mental health needs (2+ years preferred).
• High level of integrity and very compassionate.
• Ability to prioritize multiple duties and responsibilities.
• Consent to background check, physical, and TB test (cost covered by HIL).
• Driver’s license with 3 years of clean driving record strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assure the health, safety, and well-being of all clients.
• Administer positive behavioral redirection and promote positive coping skills.
• Assist with daily living activities as needed based on care plans.
• Assist with food preparation and cleaning as needed.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, guardians, and staff.
• Complete daily logs and reports accurately.

Overview

Grow with Homes for Independent Living as a Caregiver assisting 1-4 adult clients with behavioral, medical and/or physical disabilities in a residential home setting. Ensure clients’ safety, redirect behaviors, assist them with daily tasks, and be a positive influence, and a chaperone for fun events.

Responsibilities:

• Assure the health, safety, and well-being of all clients
• Administer positive behavioral redirection and promote positive coping skills
• Assist with daily living activities as needed based on care plans

• Maintain positive relationships with clients, guardians, and staff
• Complete daily logs and reports accurately

We offer:

• Competitive hourly pay $17- $18.00 per hour, plus 2nd shift and weekend differential
• Set schedules with guaranteed hours, ability to pick up additional hours
