Job summary

Clear Conscienve Counseling is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Assistant to support children and adolescents in applying therapy skills in daily environments under licensed clinicians. This role involves implementing individualized behavior plans and documenting progress in home, school, and community settings.

You will collaborate with families and treatment teams to promote positive outcomes and to ensure consistency of care across settings. Travel within New Jersey may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication with children, families, and clinical staff.
• Ability to follow structured treatment plans and clinical direction accurately.
• Reliable transportation for travel between home, school, and community settings in New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the clinical/treatment team.
• Support children and adolescents in practicing and generalizing skills learned in therapy across home, school, and community settings.
• Document client progress, behavioral data, and session notes accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with supervising clinicians, families, and other members of the treatment team to ensure consistency of care.
• Communicate observations and concerns regarding client progress to the clinical team promptly.
• Adapt intervention strategies in real time based on client responses, following established clinical guidance.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment for clients during sessions.
• Attend team meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions as required to maintain competency and compliance with treatment protocols.
