The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a Behavioral Programming Specialist to support residents at the J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center.
Under supervision, you will assist in behavioral assessments and treatment planning to improve outcomes for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will collaborate with psychologists, behavior analysts and direct care staff, contribute to staff training, and help ensure quality assurance across
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in psychology including coursework in behavior modification.
- Bachelor's degree in child development, social work, education, nursing or related field with coursework in behavior modification and six months of relevant experience.
- Associate's degree in human services plus two years in assessment of adaptive development and behavior data.
Responsabilités
- Provide behavior assessments for residents.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team processes.
- Assist in planning and evaluating treatment programs.
- Assist in tracking and quality assurance of treatment programs.
- Help provide staff training on behavior support plans.
