Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Martinez, CA is seeking an In-Home Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to assist children and/or adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors. The role focuses on delivering tailored behavior interventions in the home environment.

Qualifications

• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one-behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Assist with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior areas and crisis intervention.
• Assist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, meal preparation and feeding, dressing, and mobility.
• Implement and collect data on behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan.

Responsibilities:

• Provides/assists with daily program activities in the areas of self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior and crisis intervention
• Assist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparation and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation and other activities as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
