Southeast Texas HR in Beaumont, TX is seeking a dependable Behavioral Admitting Clerk for our hospital and healthcare team. This temp-to-perm role requires 7am-7pm shifts on a rotating schedule, with every-other weekend work; pay is $14 per hour.

Responsibilities include gathering patient demographics and financial information, verifying insurance, obtaining patient consent and signatures, collecting payments, answering calls, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years insurance verification.
• 2 years experience in a medical office.
• Proficiency in computer skills and data entry.
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts and rotating weekends.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must obtain immunization records.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Southeast Texas HR is seeking a dependable Behavioral Admitting Clerk to join our team in the hospital and healthcare industry. As a leader in recruiting and HR services, we provide excellent career opportunities for candidates with the right skills and experience. This position is a temp to perm position and you will work 7am-7pm, 3 days on and 4 days off, then 4 days on and 3 days off, so you will be required to work every other weekend. It is a rotating schedule. Pay is $14 per hour.
