Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Therapist to support students in our ALL Academy in Stamford, CT.

You will work under supervision to implement individualized behavioral and educational plans and collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team including teachers, BCBAs, psychologists and therapists. Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field strongly preferred.
• 2–3 years of direct support experience with children with disabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement each student’s educational and behavioral programs under supervision.
• Collaborate with School Psychologists, Speech-Language Pathologists and therapists.
• Work with teachers to support social, behavioral and academic goals.

Aspire Living & Learning is currently seeking a Behavior Therapist to work out of one of our Approved Private Special Education Programs (ALL Academy) in Stamford, CT, providing services to children who have been outplaced to our program due to social, behavioral, and/or academic needs.

Hours: M-F 7:00a-3:00p

As a Behavior Therapist, you will work under the guidance of Special Education Teachers and Board-Certified Behavior Analysts to implement each student’s educational and behavioral programs. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with service providers, including School Psychologists, Speech and Language Pathologists and Occupational/Physical Therapists.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field strongly preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience providing direct support to children with disabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Salary: $37,400 - $47,840 per year, based on education and experience
