Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning in Connecticut seeks a Behavior Therapist to work at our ALL Academy, providing services to children with social, behavioral, and academic needs in an Approved Private Special Education Program.

You will collaborate with Special Education Teachers, Board-Certified Behavior Analysts, and other professionals to implement individualized educational and behavioral plans. This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience working directly with children with disabilities.
• Experience in ABA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement student educational and behavior programs under supervision of teachers and BCBA analysts.
• Collaborate with service providers (School Psychologists, Speech/Language Pathologists, Occupational/Physical Therapists).

Aspire Living & Learning is currently seeking a Behavior Therapist to work out of one of our Approved Private Special Education Programs (ALL Academy), providing services to children who have been outplaced to our program due to social, behavioral, and/or academic needs.

Location: Trumbull, CT

Hours: M-F 7a-3p

As a Behavior Therapist, you will work under the guidance of Special Education Teachers and Board-Certified Behavior Analysts to implement each student’s educational and behavioral programs. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with service providers, including School Psychologists, Speech and Language Pathologists and Occupational/Physical Therapists.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field strongly preferred.
• Experience working directly with children with disabilities.
• Experience in ABA preferred.

Salary: $36,000 - $46,000 per year, based on education and experience
