Starting Rate: $22/hour

The Behavior Therapist is responsible for implementing applied behavior analysis educational and treatment programs with clients aged 1 to 22 in their home, ABA Center, and community, under the clinical team's direction. A Behavior Analyst supervises treatment and supports strategy implementation to promote independence across functional skills. Data collection as prescribed by the Behavior Analyst and participation in data management are essential. The Behavior Therapist is a member of the client treatment team.

Responsibilities

• Enhance lives through positive approaches, following all approved treatment plans.
• Assist in meeting treatment goals with Behavior Analyst consultation.
• Train and orient new staff, providing constructive feedback.
• Collect accurate data across all program aspects, including toileting, discrete trial instruction, behavior, and natural environment.
• Participate in developing and following individualized plans and attend meetings.
• Work one-on-one with children with special healthcare needs in various settings.
• Review and discuss family concerns and treatment administration with the Behavior Analyst.
• Implement instructional strategies as prescribed.
• Report medical, physical, or other client status changes to guardians and team.
• Implement treatment programs positively and supportively, including self-care and toilet training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or RBT Credential (preferred), or Associate’s Degree (60+ credit hours), or High School Diploma/GED with at least 6 months relevant experience.
• Must pass background checks, have a valid driver’s license, insurance, and access to a vehicle for transport.
• Experience with children or autism is a plus but not required; training provided.
