Job summary

Caravel Autism Health seeks dedicated Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through ABA-based therapy. Full-time roles with day shifts, 8:00 am–6:00 pm, Monday–Friday, with some Saturdays for make-up sessions. Paid training will help you become an RBT.

You will implement individualized treatment plans, document progress, and help clients build communication and independence in daily activities, within a collaborative, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Availability to work full-time between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday (Saturdays for make-ups occasionally).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, social work, or related field preferred.
• Experience with children with special needs preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must obtain RBT within 75 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ABA-based therapy sessions and document progress.
• Help clients develop communication and independence in daily activities.
• Contribute to progress notes and client records in a supportive team environment.

We utilize a results-oriented approach based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) to assess how clients interact with their environment and respond to social cues, and you’ll play a crucial part in helping build skills and document progress. You’ll start your day playing and encouraging little learners, all while incorporating targets from each client’s individualized treatment plan and promoting the development of essential skills.
