Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is seeking a Behavior Technician to join our center-based treatment team. You will work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum under the supervision of BCBAs, implementing individualized plans and collecting progress data.

The role offers part-time or full-time hours, paid training, competitive pay, and a supportive, team-oriented environment that aims to positively impact families. Reliable transportation and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Prior experience providing support to children with behavioral challenges or disabilities preferred.
• Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though training will be provided.
• Reliable transportation with ability to commute to assigned locations.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress and report progress.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing plans.
• Be responsive to the needs of clients, families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and applicable parties.
• Physically keep up with clients during sessions (movement, lifting 25+ pounds, etc.).
• Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA.

Proud Moments ABA is a national behavioral health organization, providing the gold standard of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children on the autism spectrum from birth to age 21. We are looking for Behavior Technicians (BT's) to join our growing team. Our BT's are an essential part of the treatment team- providing 1-1 specialized treatment in partnership with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts to our clients in a center-based setting.If you are looking for a career that allows you to provide life changing treatment to children this could be the role for you-if you have the passion we have the training!

• Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans
• Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties
• Physically keep up with clients as they move about the session area(s). This will require many physical activities including, but not limited to, standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, kneeling, and generally keeping pace with children from 2-15 years old
• Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior experience working with children preferred
• Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred
• Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided
• Reliable personal transportation with the ability to commute consistently to assigned work locations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities

Schedule: Monday - Friday (five days a week) 3pm-7pm or 4pm-7pm

Comp: $18-$24
