Job summary

Proud Moments ABA seeks Behavior Technicians to join a national ABA team. You will provide one-on-one in-home treatment under BCBA guidance, collecting data and supporting families. The role offers flexible part-time/evening hours and paid training to build confidence in executing treatment plans.

You will work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment with a team that values communication and dedication to children with autism. Compensation is competitive.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience working with children is preferred.
  • Experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges or developmental delays is preferred.
  • Exposure to ASD or developmental disabilities is preferred; training will be provided.
  • Reliable personal transportation for commuting to work locations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and company policies.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills and ability to document information accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; adaptable to changing schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by a BCBA.
  • Collect data to monitor progress and effectiveness of the treatment plan.
  • Support BCBA with training families on implementing treatment plans.
  • Be responsive to the needs of clients, families, and supervisors.
  • Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and others.
  • Assist with physical activities as needed to keep up with clients aged 2–15.
  • Perform other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA.

Proud Moments ABA is a national behavioral health organization, providing the gold standard of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children on the autism spectrum from birth to age 21. We are looking for Behavior Technicians (BT's) to join our growing team. Our BT's are an essential part of the treatment team- providing 1-1 specialized treatment in partnership with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts to our clients in a home-based setting.If you are looking for a career that allows you to provide life changing treatment to children this could be the role for you - if you have the passion we have the training!

Responsibilities


  • Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

  • Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan and report progress

  • Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans

  • Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors

  • Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties

  • Physically keep up with clients as they move about the session area(s). This will require many physical activities including, but not limited to, standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, kneeling, and generally keeping pace with children from 2-15 years old

  • Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA


Qualifications


  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Prior experience working with children preferred

  • Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred

  • Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided

  • Reliable personal transportation with the ability to commute consistently to assigned work locations

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-focused environment

  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities
