Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is hiring Behavior Technicians to provide 1-1 ABA therapy in a center-based setting for children from 2 to 15 years old. You will work closely with BCBAs to implement individualized plans and track progress, ensuring consistent treatment delivery.

The role offers potential for part-time or full-time hours, paid training, and competitive compensation in a supportive team environment where you positively impact families and children with autism spectrum disorders.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience with children or behavioral challenges preferred.
  • Experience with ASD or developmental delays preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with a client to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
  • Collect data to monitor progress and report results.
  • Support families in implementing treatment plans.
  • Maintain clear communication with families and supervisors.
  • Assist with physical activities to keep up with children during sessions.
  • Perform other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA.

Proud Moments ABA is a national behavioral health organization, providing the gold standard of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children on the autism spectrum from birth to age 21. We are looking for Behavior Technicians (BT's) to join our growing team. Our BT's are an essential part of the treatment team- providing 1-1 specialized treatment in partnership with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts to our clients in a center-based setting. Responsibilities
  • Work one-on-one with a client to implement behavioral plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan and report progress
  • Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
  • Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties
  • Physically keep up with clients as they move about the session area(s). This will require many physical activities including, but not limited to, standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, kneeling, and generally keeping pace with children from 2-15 years old
  • Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior experience working with children preferred
  • Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred
  • Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided
  • Reliable personal transportation with the ability to commute consistently to assigned work locations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities
  • $19-22 an hour
