Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) to join our team in Durham, NC. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing behavioral plans under a BCBA's supervision in a center-based setting.

Responsibilities include data collection, progress reporting, and coaching families on treatment plans. The role requires reliability, strong communication, and a passion for helping children with developmental challenges.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred.
• Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though training will be provided.
• Reliable personal transportation with ability to commute to assigned locations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information per HIPAA and policies.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, ability to follow instructions and document information accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Be responsive to the needs of clients, families, and supervisors.

Proud Moments ABA is a national behavioral health organization, providing the gold standard of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children on the autism spectrum from birth to age 21. We are looking for Behavior Technicians (BT's) to join our growing team. • Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans
• Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties
• Physically keep up with clients as they move about the session area(s). This will require many physical activities including, but not limited to, standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, kneeling, and generally keeping pace with children from 2-15 years old
• Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA

• Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities
