Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is seeking a Behavior Technician to join our home-based treatment team. You will implement 1-1 behavioral interventions designed by BCBA with children in their homes.

This part-time role requires Monday through Friday availability from 3:30pm to 7:30pm, reliable transportation, and a passion for helping families affected by autism. We offer paid training, ongoing support, a team‑oriented environment, and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior experience working with children preferred
  • Experience with behavioral challenges or ASD preferred
  • Reliable transportation to assigned locations
  • Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and policies
  • Multitask in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
  • Clear verbal and written communication; follow detailed instructions

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA
  • Collect data to monitor progress and report results
  • Support BCBA with training families on implementing treatment plans
  • Be responsive to the needs of clients, families, and supervisors
  • Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and applicable parties
  • Physically assist clients during sessions (lifting 25+ pounds, etc.)
  • Other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA

Overview

Proud Moments ABA is a national behavioral health organization, providing the gold standard of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children on the autism spectrum from birth to age 21. We are looking for Behavior Technicians (BT's) to join our growing team. Our BT's are an essential part of the treatment team- providing 1-1 specialized treatment in partnership with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts to our clients in a home-based setting.If you are looking for a career that allows you to provide life changing treatment to children this could be the role for you - if you have the passion we have the training!


*This role does require that you can work 5 weekdays, Monday- Friday*


*We do not hire for internship/ summer only roles at this time*

Responsibilities


  • Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

  • Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan and report progress

  • Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans

  • Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors

  • Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties

  • Physically keep up with clients as they move about the session area(s). This will require many physical activities including, but not limited to, standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, kneeling, and generally keeping pace with children from 2-15 years old

  • Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA


Qualifications


  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Prior experience working with children preferred

  • Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred

  • Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided

  • Reliable personal transportation with the ability to commute consistently to assigned work locations

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-focused environment

  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities

  • Monday- Friday 3:30pm-7:30pm
