Our Autism Learning Center in Morris, IL, is growing, and we are looking to add a full-time Behavior Technician or Registered Behavioral Technician to our team!

What you'll do:

  • Implement individualized treatment plans written and directed by the BCBA.
  • Work with children between the ages of 2 and 14 diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental and behavioral disabilities.
  • Implement behavior intervention programming.
  • Collect data to monitor the progress.
  • Attend scheduled trainings and team meetings.
  • Provide documentation on client progress, including, but not limited to, detailed clinical notes for each session.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, families, and colleagues, both orally and in writing.
  • Reliably maintain professional decorum with members of the team and the client's family.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, confidentiality and mandated reporting standards as set by the UABL clinical team.
  • Uphold best practices and the mission of UABL as outlined in the staff handbook.
What you'll bring:

  • High school Diploma
  • Previous experience working in the ABA setting including 40-hour RBT coursework (RBT certification is not required) OR within the special needs classroom setting.
  • A clean driving record, excellent references, and the ability to pass a background check
  • Sensitivity to working with our clients and their families' diverse needs
  • A calm and neutral demeanor in challenging situations
  • Ability to stand and stay on their feet for prolonged periods and bend, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Availability M-F for 6 to 8 hour shifts between 8am to 6pm.

  • Pay rate of $19-25 per hour based on experience, level of education, and other credentials.

UABL is a young company founded by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. We aim to assist each child in reaching their full potential by implementing the evidence-based principles and practices of ABA. We offer effective and intensive one-on-one therapy to children diagnosed with Autism, developmental disorders, and behavioral disorders.
