Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work with students with emotional and/or behavioral disabilities (training provided).
• Completion Registered Behavior Technician training within six (6) months of hire.
• Criminal background check required for hire.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Universal Precautions and CPI/Safety Care training within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom and non-classroom support to help students participate in activities.
• Assist with tutoring for a small group of students in specialized programs; monitor and enforce behavior.
• Assist with data collection and implementation of IEP/Behavior Intervention Plans.
• Support crisis management and behavioral program implementation under supervision.
• Participate in professional development related to behavioral supports.
