Position: Behavior Technician (RBT/CBT)

Location: Spanaway, WA

Duration: ASAP - June 13, 2025

Schedule: Full-Time, 35 hours/week (7-hour paid days with a 30-minute lunch break daily)

1:1 Support

Age Group: Middle School; Male

Pay Range: $30+ per hour

Soliant Education is looking for a dedicated and skilled Behavior Technician (RBT/CBT) for an onsite position in Spanaway, WA for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 behavioral support to a middle school-aged male student.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA or supervisor.
• Collect and record data on student behavior and progress.
• Work closely with the student to develop social, emotional, and academic skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure comprehensive support.
• Assist with daily activities, both academic and social, to encourage positive behaviors.

Requirements:

• Current RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) or CBT (Certified Behavior Technician) certification required.
• Fingerprint clearance through OSPI (Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction).
• Valid Washington State licensure/credentials.
• Experience working with middle school-aged students and/or behavior therapy is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educational teams.
• Passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
