Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring Behavior Technicians to provide one-to-one behavioral intervention in home settings for individuals on the autism spectrum and related conditions. Entry, mid, and experienced caregivers are welcome, with comprehensive training and BCBA supervision.

Expect competitive pay of $22-$30 per hour, plus weekly pay, benefits eligibility, and opportunities for growth through education partnerships. Flexible PT/FT schedules are available.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with individuals with special needs.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience in education or healthcare preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience with individuals with special needs who display challenging behaviors.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred.
• CPI Certification preferred.
• RBT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one-behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Assist with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, and behavioral areas.
• Assist with personal care activities including bathing, hygiene, meals, dressing, and mobility.
• Collect and document data of behaviors and goals per the Behavior Support Plan.
