ABS Kids in Charlotte, NC is seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians to support children with autism using ABA techniques. The role spans 3:00pm–7:00pm on weekdays, with a focus on data collection, one-on-one client support, and creating a safe, engaging environment.

We offer paid RBT certification, a $18–$24 hourly wage (plus $2 premium for group sessions), paid drive time/mileage, 401(k) with match, and PTO earned per hour worked, plus training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience with children or adults with special needs.
• Heart for helping kids and a calm, steady presence.
• Eagerness and energy to play with children.
• Reliable transportation to client locations.
• Tech savviness to learn data collection software and basic office tools.

Responsabilités

• Make a difference in the life of a child through ABA therapy.
• Provide one-on-one support and collect data on progress.
• Teach real-life skills using play and patient instruction.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.
• Support development of motor, personal hygiene, and social skills.
• Move actively when assisting clients and documenting sessions.

Job Requirements

$1,000 bonus for current RBTs.

We are looking for Behavior Technicians up to seasoned RBTs for our 3:00pm-7:00pm shift.

Must have availability 3:00pm-6:00pm or 3:00pm-7:00pm depending on location, Monday-Friday.

Benefits And Compensation

• $18.00 - $24.00 / hour
• Earn an additional $2.00 /hour (premium pay) for group sessions
• Increase for RBT certification
• Paid RBT Certification - No experience necessary, we will help you get trained on the job!
