Using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, KHBC conducts quality assessments and develops behavior intervention plans to improve skills and quality of life. Many of our analysts specialize in autism, offering a range of services from consultation to in-home and community support. We collaborate with local school districts to enhance educational success and empower caregivers to support clients within their natural environment.

Role Description
This is a part-time to possibly full-time on-site role as a Behavior Technician located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Day-to-day tasks include implementing behavior intervention plans, collecting data on client progress, and working closely with behavior analysts. The Behavior Technician will also support individuals in various settings such as in-home, school, and community, and maintain clear and effective communication with clients' families, supervisors, and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis techniques
• Strong skills in implementing Behavioral Interventions
• Excellent Communication skills
• Background or coursework in Psychology, Sociology, or Education is beneficial
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Experience with individuals with autism is preferred
• RBT certificate within 90 days of hire
• First Aid & CPR within 90 days of hire
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
