Our naturalistic teaching strategies emphasize learning through play, fostering joy and meaningful growth. CAC is a locally owned and operated ABA service provider with six Treatment Centers in Fresno, Merced, and Visalia, and we lead with positivity, perseverance, and teamwork.

What makes CAC great?

  • Joyful & Playful Therapy – Natural, child-centered environments focused on early intervention for children aged 2–6.
  • Strong Support System – Safety, crisis management, and a culture of mentorship to prevent burnout. We care about your well-being!
  • Collaboration – Work alongside a dedicated team of professionals, receive hands-on support, and grow together in a shared mission.
Role

Behavior Technician

Join our team to help children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) thrive. We provide high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to young children (ages 18 months to six years) in a supportive environment. We are seeking compassionate and driven individuals to join as Behavior Technicians.

About the Role:

As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with children diagnosed with ASD, helping them develop essential social, behavioral, and daily living skills. You will implement evidence-based treatment plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support each child\'s growth and success in the classroom and community. Responsibilities include:

  • Work one-on-one with clients to collect data on skill acquisition and behavioral progress, recorded digitally on iPads.
  • Reduce behavioral excesses by following structured treatment plans.
  • Regularly communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • During downtime, perform janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, disinfecting toys and surfaces, dishwashing, trash disposal, and stocking restrooms and kitchens.
Why Work with Us?

We value our employees and offer several benefits to support well-being:

  • In-House RBT Training: Comprehensive training at no cost, with a high pass rate for the board certification exam. Training team mentors you toward RBT certification within 90 days.
  • Supportive Supervision: On-site supervisor, quarterly performance reviews, monthly supervisor meetings, and regular team bonding to foster collaboration.
  • Career Growth Opportunities: Paths beyond the Behavior Technician role, including training coordinators, case assistants, and case managers. BCBA supervision for graduate students and ongoing supervision for maintaining RBT certification.
  • Work-Life Balance: Predictable schedule with no evenings or weekends driving. Treatment Center operates Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM.
Requirements/Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic about making a difference in children's lives and meet the following qualifications:

  • Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in ABA, psychology, child development, or related fields is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use an Apple iPad daily for data tracking and communication.
  • Availability: Minimum of 16 hours per week, in four-hour blocks, within operating hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM).
  • Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting.
  • Health Requirements: Ability to provide immunization records, including TB test clearance (reasonable accommodations for vaccinations available).
  • Preferred Experience: Previous experience with children, especially those with special needs; bachelor\'s degree in psychology, education, or related fields.

If you are passionate about helping children with ASD and contributing to a supportive, growth-oriented team, we encourage you to apply today.

Full compensation package is based on candidate experience and certifications. Salary range: $17 - $20 USD.
