Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges
  • Assist with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor, and behavioral areas, including crisis intervention
  • Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, oral hygiene, meal preparation and feeding, dressing, ambulation, and other activities as needed
  • Collect and document data related to behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan
Qualifications:
  • Passion for working with individuals with special needs
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in educational or healthcare settings preferred
  • At least one year of experience working with children or adults with special needs exhibiting challenging or aggressive behaviors
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred
  • CPI Certification preferred
  • RBT certification preferred
