Job summary

State of Washington's DSHS DDA is seeking a Behavior Technician to support adults with developmental disabilities in SOCR programs. You will implement behavioral supports, collect data for functional assessments, and help ensure successful plan implementation with the support system.

You will collaborate with Psychology Associates, Psychiatric Adult Counselors, and vocational partners to enhance care quality, provide coaching, and stay current with best practices in community-based care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology or education with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, social work, or related field with 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral support in SOCR programs, in homes and community.
• Collect and analyze behavioral data and conduct functional assessments.
• Develop or implement Positive Behavior Support Plans under clinical oversight.
• Deliver coaching and training to clients, families, staff, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with psychology staff and vocational partners to ensure plan fidelity.
• Remain current on best practices and participate in meetings and trainings.
