What is a Behavior Technician?
Behavior technicians work directly with clients, improving their lives and those of their families by teaching skills such as language, social, and self-help skills. They learn patience, flexible thinking, creativity, and authenticity from the children and families they serve.

Responsibilities
- Implement skill acquisition & behavior reduction programs as designed by BCBAs
- Engage in developmentally appropriate play with clients
- Collect accurate daily data
- Collaborate with the clinical team
- Create a fun and enriched environment for clients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the therapy area
- Follow company policies and perform administrative duties
- Promote CCBS mission and foster team spirit
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years old
- Reliable transportation; able to drive up to 40 miles daily
- Availability from 3:30PM-6:30PM, Monday-Friday
- Physical ability to perform job tasks
- Valid CA driver’s license
- Clear TB test
- Completed immunizations
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- RBT certification (training provided)
- Experience with children, especially those with developmental delays or disorders
